Dress Code
Dear Members and Guests,
Chicagoans have always been famous for their keen sense of style, which is something we celebrate! This is why an Astor Club “dress code” is an anathema to us. However, to honor the legacy of our storied past, we kindly ask you to consider the following guidelines:
In Short: Dress to Impress!
MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY WEEK DAYS: Business casual for all.
MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY WEEK NIGHTS: Modern casual for all. Jackets optional for gentlemen. Festive/cocktail attire for ladies.

SATURDAY and SUNDAY DAYS: Casual for all but dress to impress. Collared shirts and long pants for gentlemen. Slightly dressier for brunch.
SATURDAY NIGHTS: Jacket and tie for gentlemen. Festive/cocktail attire for ladies.
SUNDAY NIGHTS: Collared shirts for gentlemen, jackets optional. Festive/cocktail attire for ladies.

Black Tie and costumes on special designated nights/events. We will adjust for warm summer evenings, as dictated by the ever-changing Chicago weather. We applaud free expression but prefer that it not be emblazoned on your t-shirt, your hat, or another garment. Please refrain from clothing or accessories that display divisive, political, or otherwise offensive sayings or images.
NO:
Athletic team sports apparel or sports caps (unless you just won the World Series!)
Gym clothes or beach wear
Men’s shorts, tees and tanks
Torn or shredded denim
Open toe footwear or flip-flops for gentlemen
