Mona Lisker is a standout presence in Chicago’s vibrant music scene—a multigenerational musician, vocalist, composer, and actress known for her dynamic range and thoughtful artistry. With a sound that weaves together jazz, soul, R&B, and funk, Mona delivers performances marked by compelling storytelling and a powerful emotional connection with her audience.  She leads the band Sapphire Street, whose original music explores themes of truth, transcendence, and transformation. Their debut single, Crystal Ceiling, is available now on all major streaming platforms. In addition to her music accomplishments, Mona is a dedicated educator. She has been a private music teacher for over a decade, nurturing the next generation of artists with the same passion and purpose that define her own work. With an unmistakable authenticity and the ability to both transport and transform, Mona Lisker continues to push the boundaries of live performance and creative expression.

Fall Food Drive

It is the season of giving, and our Fall Food Drive will benefit those that are in need of a good meal this Thanksgiving. Bring by non-perishable foods by the Club now through November 26th and they will be donated to the Pacific Garden Mission in the South Loop. You can also make a monetary donation that will be 100% used to purchase additional food and turkeys the day of delivery. Simply email donate@astorclub.com.
