Rules & Regulations

Respect the Club as if it were your home.

Members are expected to treat other members, guests, and staff with respect, regardless of age, race, religion, or sexual orientation.

When entering or leaving the location, members are expected to be respectful of our neighbors and the neighborhood.

When arriving or departing the location via any rideshare or private vehicle, members or their drivers will not honk horns, stop or cause traffic on Goethe or Astor.

Causing any kind of disturbance to our neighbors, outside noise, traffic, or littering, is grounds for immediate termination of membership.

On-site parking is not available and valet parking is available at Ambassador Hotel at an Astor Club validated rate.

Members should refrain from taking photos of any other members or guests, anywhere in the Club and refrain from posting any photos on social media, unless expressly approved by the Club.

The Club is both a place of relaxation and business, so please always be considerate of Members indulging in either pursuit.

Mobile telephones must be kept on silent.

Speaking on the telephone and the use of laptops is permitted during the day until 6pm. Members can also use phones in the staircases and reception.

Required dress code is business casual before 6pm, business formal after 6pm. Black tie and white tie on designated nights.

Members are encouraged to dress for the occasion and be respectful in their choice of attire.

Attire including flip-flops, shorts, gym wear, sportswear, ripped jeans, baseball caps, hooded jumpers, beachwear, crop tops, fleeces, visible underwear and revealing outfits are not permitted.

The Club is a non-smoking establishment. No smoking is allowed within 50 feet outside our Club Location.

Dogs and pets are not allowed, with the exception of service animals.

Children under the age of 18 are allowed in the Club, when accompanied by a guardian (active member) on weekends and weekdays only until 6pm.

Members without any guests are welcome at the Club without a reservation and are reminded to present their Membership card on entering the Club. Members with guests are required to make a reservation to ensure seating.

Members are reminded to stay with their guests throughout their visit and must not leave guests unattended in the Club, around the Club, or at the Club after you leave.

Bills can be signed to your membership account.

Members please notify the Maitre'D if you decide to change your dining destination upon arriving at the Club. This is so that your original booking can be cancelled and a new reservation can be made for you.

CCTV AT ASTOR CLUB - Our premises are closely monitored using CCTV for the safety and security of our members and their guests, and our servers and employees of the Club.

No Club member will permit, transfer, give or otherwise make available to any other person or third party neighborhood permit parking stickers or rights for the purpose of allowing or facilitating street parking by such third party relating to any Club visit, activity, event or purpose.

Violation of any of the Club rules is grounds for immediate termination of membership.
