Golden Rule: Respect the Club as if it were your home

~ Conduct ~

Members are expected to treat other members, guests, and staff with respect, regardless of age, race, religion, or sexual orientation.

Behaving toward or speaking to Club staff in a disrepectful or derogatory manner is prohibited.

When entering or leaving the location, members are expected to be respectful of our neighbors and the neighborhood. Causing any kind of disturbance to our neighbors, outside noise, traffic, or littering, is grounds for immediate termination of membership.

The Club is both a place of relaxation and business, so please always be considerate of Members indulging in either pursuit.

Members are encouraged to dress for the occasion and be respectful in their choice of attire, as adherence to the Club dress code is a rule. Please see our full dress code for details.

Members and guests should refrain from taking photos or videos of any other members or guests, anywhere in the Club and refrain from posting any photos on social media, unless expressly approved by the Club.

Use of or speaking on the telephone is not allowed in any area of the club except the phone booths. Use of laptops is permitted until 5pm only.

~ Guests ~

Members without any guests are welcome at the Club without a reservation and are reminded to present their Membership card or Member ID number upon entering the Club. Members with guests are required to make a reservation to ensure seating and upon arrival, guests will be asked for ID.

Members are not permitted to share their ID for use by guests without the member present.

Members are reminded to stay with their guests throughout their visit and must not leave guests unattended in the Club, around the Club, or at the Club after you leave.

Guest of members are expected to adhere to all Club rules and members are responsible for their guests when visiting the Club, and accordingly, a guest's rule infraction is grounds for the membership termination.

Children under the age of 18 and guests under the age of 21 are allowed in the Club, when accompanied by a guardian (active member) on weekends and weekdays only until 6pm, unless expressly approved by Club management and accompanied by an active member guardian.

~ Parking ~

On-site parking is not available and valet parking is available at Ambassador Hotel at a validated rate.

When arriving or departing the location via any rideshare or private vehicle, members or their drivers will not honk horns, stop or cause traffic on Goethe or Astor.

No Club member will permit, transfer, give or otherwise make available to any other person or third party neighborhood permit parking stickers or rights for the purpose of allowing or facilitating street parking by such third party relating to any Club visit, activity, event or purpose.

~ Admin ~

Bills can be signed to your membership house account or paid on-site.

An automatic gratuity of 20% is added to all checks but is not required and can be removed/reduced/increased at the request of members at time of service.

Member dinner reservation no-shows or late cancellations (within 24 hours) may be subject to a $20 per person cancellation fee.

The Club is a non-smoking establishment. No smoking is allowed within 50 feet outside our Club Location.

Astor Club's decor includes some antique/vintage/valuable pieces and if a member or their guest breaks or damages an item, the member will be charged for that item's replacement cost.

Dogs and pets are not allowed, with the exception of service animals.

~ Other ~

Any complaints, suggestions, feedback should be brought to the manager or owners attention without involving or disturbing other member's experience while visiting the Club.

Our premises are monitored using CCTV for the safety and security of our members and their guests, and our servers and employees of the Club.

Violation of any of the Club rules is grounds for immediate termination of membership.

Club management and Club staff reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

These Club rules and regulations may be amended by the Club, at their sole discretion, at any time.
Updated rules and regulations will be updated on our website for Members to review at any time, and the version posted here is considered the latest version, and is applicable to all members.
