In close collaboration with the Stradivari Society and Turkish Consulate General, Astor Club is presenting a special music double feature! Beginning at 5:00 pm, artist Philippe Quint will bring a sampling of rare Italian violins by Antonio Stradivari and Guiseppe Guarneri del Gesu and he will present a brief introduction/history/explanation of each of the instruments and then give a performance on his violin on loan through the Stradivari Society. Shortly after at 7:00 pm, Turkish Consulate General, Engin Turesin, will make some remarks and present artists from the Turkish Presidential Orchestra, who will play a unique performance of traditional Turkish music on traditional Turkish instruments. Dont miss this special once-in-a-lifetime special music feature.
