Join us for live piano in the lounge! After moving to Chicago in 2014, Joey became enamored with music of Dennis Carroll and George Fludas whom he gratefully heard play regularly with Ron Perrillo, Bobby Broom, Tom Garling and Hinda Hoffman. In early 2020, the opportunity arose for Joey to lead a trio with the beloved Chicago masters, planting the seeds for what has now blossomed into DC & The Love, a band based on the original compositions of Dennis Carroll. The band grew and matured over the pandemic by performing on fellow member Lee Rothenberg‘s front porch and continues to perform regularly at one of Chicago’s most unique venues Buzzed By Zea.
