The Lee Rothenberg Trio featuring Alyssa Allgood brings together two standout voices in Chicago jazz for a night of dynamic, swinging, and soulful music. Guitarist Lee Rothenberg is known for his melodic clarity, deep sense of swing, and creative phrasing. A longtime fixture of the Chicago scene, he has performed with artists like Randy Brecker, Dennis Carroll, and Ira Sullivan at venues including The Green Mill, The Jazz Showcase, and the Chicago Jazz Festival. Vocalist Alyssa Allgood was named a “Rising Star Female Vocalist” in the 2024 and 2025 DownBeat Critics Poll and voted “Best Individual Jazz Musician” in the 2024 Chicago Reader Poll. Her fearless improvisation, expressive delivery, and modern sensibilities have earned praise from critics nationwide
