The Lee Rothenberg Trio featuring Bruce A. Henry brings together two dynamic forces in jazz for an evening of powerful, soulful, and genre-defying music. Guitarist Lee Rothenberg is a longtime fixture of the Chicago jazz scene, known for his melodic clarity, deep swing, and creative phrasing. He has performed with artists like Randy Brecker, Dennis Carroll, and Ira Sullivan, and appeared at top venues including The Green Mill, The Jazz Showcase, and the Chicago Jazz Festival. A thoughtful improviser and educator, Rothenberg blends tradition with modern sensibilities. Vocalist Bruce A. Henry is an internationally celebrated artist whose three-and-a-half-octave range and magnetic stage presence have captivated audiences across five continents. Born in Mississippi and raised in Chicago, Henry draws from a rich lineage of Black musical traditions, blending jazz, gospel, soul, and African influences. He has shared stages with legends like Bobby McFerrin and Doc Severinsen, and his voice has been featured on soundtracks for the BBC, HBO, and Disney.
