Astor Club Sommelier Kevin Armistead is calling in the big guns this week to proselytize a topic dear to his heart: Riesling. Master Sommelier Jesse Becker will be a guest speaker for this Wine Wednesday. He is one of only 279 people to ever achieve the title of Master Sommelier, and is revered in the wine industry as one of the foremost experts on German wine in the world. He will help us uncover the magic of Riesling, a variety that consistently captivates sommeliers. Renowned for its aromatic richness and balance of stone fruit, minerality, and acidity, Riesling\'s versatility allows for a range of styles, from bone-dry to sparkling to luscious dessert wines. Price: $20 - Cover charge to help cover cost of wine so that we can pour you good stuff. We need 24-hours notice to avoid charge for cancellations so that we can plan accordingly.
